Salted Caramel Whisky Sauce
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
- 600 ml whipping cream
- 2 oz Glen Breton Whiskey
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
- Whisk in the sugar, salt, cream and whiskey.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Serve warm over bread pudding or ice cream.
