Do you have jobs available that are not posted on your career page?

Our practice is to post available jobs on the Career Opportunities section of our website; however, as new positions arise, existing employees with the PEILCC may be considered prior to posting the position advertisement online.

If I apply for one position, will I be considered for other positions or do I need to apply to each job separately?

We encourage you to apply separately to all of the position advertisements that interest you. This is the best way to ensure you are considered for a particular job.

How will I know you received my resume/application?

All resumes/applications that are submitted are reviewed by the PEILCC’s HR Department. However, while we appreciate the interest of all candidates, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Your application will be kept for one year from the date it is submitted.

Applications and/or resumes must be received on or before the application deadline as indicated on the job respective advertisement. Any resumes/applications received after this prescribed deadline will not be given initial consideration.

Should I tailor my resume/application to the particular job I’m interested in?

Yes, your application will be assessed based on how strongly your qualifications meet the minimum qualifications as outlined in the job advertisement.

I have a disability and require special assistance. Do I have to indicate this on my application?

Your response to this question on the application is voluntary. If you are invited for an interview, however, please notify the person booking the interview what type of special assistance you may require.

Yes, some PEILCC positions require fluency in both English and French. The requirement for proficiency in English and French, or a bilingual position, will be stated in the job advertisement. You must have this skill to be selected to participate in the interview process, and your level of proficiency will be assessed by the PEILCC in collaboration with the PEI PSC’s French Language Services.
