Chai Tea

Fall Mocktail

Serves 12.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 peppercorns
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn off heat and Cover.
  • Let steep for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve.

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Fall Mocktail

Serves 2.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Divide milkshake between 2 glasses and top with whipped cream and extra pumpkin pie spice if desired.
