Lionel Osmin & Cie Tannat Sans Souffre


This wine is made of 100% Tannat, a grape native to South West France. Vinified without added sulfites showing flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant, spices, tobacco and oak.

The bold tannins of Tannat deserve a dish with fat and richness, and the dark character of Tannat works well with smoky, spiced and meaty flavours. Pairs perfectly with grilled meats and strong cheeses.

Try this adult version of an Ice Cream Float:

Kahlúa & Coca-Cola Float

  • 1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 oz. Kahlua
  • 4 oz. Coca-Cola

In a highball glass add the ice cream, pour the Kahlúa and Coca-Cola over the top. Stir and enjoy.


Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale


Your friends will be green with envy once you open and serve Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. Brewed in Kilkenny, Ireland by Smithwick’s Brewery. They will rave about the malty freshness with raisin, coffee and a light bitterness. Try pairing with shepherd’s pie or caramel cheesecake. The perfect Irish treat!


Copper Bottom Parkman Ave DIPA


Made in Montague, PEI, Copper Bottom Brewing is a craft brewery owned by husband and wife team Ashley Condon and Ken Spears, both of whom share a passion for craft beer and music.

Parkman Ave is their flagship Double IPA, it is a big, hop-forward beer. This double IPA is tropical, aromatic and smooth.

Double IPA’S are big beers, so pair accordingly. Fire up the grill, char some of your favourite meats and cover with thick barbecue sauce. Ribs, pork chops and even chicken all pair nicely when grilled. Strong cheeses like blue and sharp cheddar are also a good choice.


La Sablette Muscadet


With the opening of the lobster season quickly approaching La Sablette Muscadet is the perfect pairing. La Sablette is a white wine from the Loire Valley in France, produced in the Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine appellation with the Burgundy Melon grape. This wine is aged on the lees (labelled sur lie). Sur Lie ageing is the process of allowing a finished wine to continue to sit on the lees, in order to extract flavor. Lees are dead yeast cells, leftover from the fermentation process.

This wine is dry, pale yellow in color and has an intense bouquet dominated by aromas of lemon. La Sablette has dry fruitiness, with green fruit and lime flavors. Muscadet is loved as an excellent food pairing wine due to its minerality, citrus like taste and acidity.


Ungava Gin


Quebec-based Domaine Pinnacle produces Ungava, a gin made with botanicals harvested exclusively from the Ungava Peninsula, the province’s northernmost point. It is hard to miss as Ungava is sunshine yellow in color. Ungava, is made from a neutral spirit derived from corn and, most importantly botanicals gathered from the tundra region of northern Quebec. The arctic plants that make up Ungava’s botanical bill are Cloudberries, Crowberries, Labrador tea and Wild Rosehip.

Nose – peppermint tea, pine and a touch of lemon curd
Palate – Sweet summer berries with a hint of fig, and spicy notes of juniper
Finish – Peppermint turns to sweet spearmint alongside layers of caramel

Judy’s Cocktail: Fizz of the Arctic

  • 1 ½ oz Ungava Gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 3 oz club soda
  • Lemon Slice
  • Add all the ingredients except club soda to a shaker filled with ice
  • Shake
  • Pour into a highball glass with ice
  • Top with club soda and garnish with a slice of lemon.

Sortilège is gold in colour with flavours of Canadian Whiskey, Quebec maple syrup and toffee – Our very own northern comfort. Try Sortilège splashed into coffee, dribbled over cake, or served with dessert.

  • 1.5 oz Sortilege
  • ½ oz Blue Curaco
  • Club Soda
  • In a highball glass add Sortilege and Blue Curaco.
  • Top with Club Soda
  • Garnish with an orange wedge.
