Bourbon Pecan Candied Bacon
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Bacon
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Bulleit Bourbon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix together the brown sugar, maple syrup and bourbon. Transfer bacon strips to the glaze bowl and toss until evenly coated with bacon.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a cooling rack on top. Lay bacon on the rack in a flat even layer.
- Bake for 12 minutes, then sprinkle with the chopped pecans. Return pan to the oven and cook for another 10 minutes or until crispy. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
