Salted Caramel Whisky Sauce



  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
  • 600 ml whipping cream
  • 2 oz Glen Breton Whiskey


  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
  • Whisk in the sugar, salt, cream and whiskey.
  • Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve warm over bread pudding or ice cream.
