Chai Tea
Serves 12.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon black tea or 2 tea bags
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 6 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off heat and Cover.
- Let steep for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve.
Pumpkin Pie Milkshake
Serves 2.
Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- ¾ cup milk
- ¾ tsp pumpkin pie spice
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Divide milkshake between 2 glasses and top with whipped cream and extra pumpkin pie spice if desired.
