Makes 2 portions.
- 1 cup halved button or cremini mushrooms
- 1 cup shitake mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp balsamic or sherry vinegar
- Salt and pepper
- Heat a heavy-bottom skillet over medium heat. Add butter, then add garlic and sauté, stirring for 1 minute.
- Add mushrooms and toss to coat with butter and garlic. Cook, stirring every minute, for about 5 minutes.
- Add vinegar and stir to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
