Hidden Gems on PEI
Canada’s smallest province is full of little treasures. While it’s hard for anything on PEI to be “hidden”, given our size, there are a few really special places that everyone who visits or lives here should really experience.
Robinson’s Island Trail System: Robinson’s Island is the newest addition to PEI’s National Park System. Located on a small island (reachable by causeway), the park was once a popular campground but has since been re-designed as a multi-use trail for hiking or biking. Explorers can choose routes between 1 and 5 kilometers through meadows, beaches and wooded areas. Explore the windswept beach and view some of the Island’s best natural driftwood “sculptures”. A great outdoor activity for a sunny day!
